Welcome to “Benji’s Art”, the website that chronicles my artworks, processes, and artistic journey.

What I make now, and what I have made in the past.

  • A Window on a Blue Wall

I had the opportunity to make several monotype prints at the St. Louis Artist’s Guild a couple of years ago. I love the opaque colors and the spontaneity of the process. See more monotypes and other types of relief prints in the printmaking page.

  • Iceberg

For several years I made mosaics from paper pieces or strips that I colored with watercolor washes. See more of my mosaics in the mosaics page. I enjoyed the meditative process of this practice.

  • Drawing of a Mask

For me, drawing is the foundation of my artistic practice. I develop most of my drawings in my sketchbook on an everyday basis with various media, including; Sharpies, ink pens, charcoal, graphite, or in this case, a stick dipped in India Ink.
