A little about my mosaics.
Each mosaic begins with an underdrawing of a representational image, usually a portrait or landscape. I then apply different colored washes to sketch paper depending on my desired color schemes. The sketch paper is then cut into tiny rectangles or strips and applied, one by one, on to the surface with a water based glue.
